The 2016 Urban Journalism Workshop (UJW) Application Deadline Extended to Friday, February 19, 2016!

Since 1986, the Washington Association of Black Journalists has introduced young people to media careers through an intensive skills-building workshop held each spring. UJW is a free 8-week program for area high school students. Applications now only accepted online. Requires two (2) letters of recommendation and signed parental/guardian consent form. Recommendations and signed consent form should be sent to via email to Susan Carter, UJW Coordinator: susanc373@aol.com
